The Art of Coffee, Tobacco & Wine: Celebrating the Legacy of Artist Arnold Martinez Sr.

Centro Asturiano de Tampa is proud to present The Art of Coffee, Tobacco & Wine: Celebrating the Legacy of Artist Arnold Martinez Sr., a one-night cultural experience honoring the life, work, and lasting impact of one of Ybor City’s most beloved artists. On March 25, The event will take place inside Centro Asturiano’s historic 1914 theatre and building, celebrating the traditions, stories, and everyday beauty that inspired Martinez’s work.

The evening will begin with opening remarks by the Honorable E.J. Salcines, followed by a special conversation featuring Arnold Martinez Jr., who will share personal reflections and insight into his father’s artistic vision and influence on Ybor City’s cultural landscape. Following the program, guests will experience a curated gallery of Arnold Martinez Sr.’s artwork, with select pieces available, along with music, drinks, and light bites. The event also coincides with opening night of baseball — a subject deeply reflected in his work — making this a truly unique celebration of Ybor’s history, artistry, and community.
