Create and Manage Promo Codes

Offer percentage or flat-dollar discounts with usage limits, expiry dates, and per-tier targeting.

Create a promo code

  1. Go to Organizer Dashboard → Your event → Marketing → Promo codes.
  2. Click Create promo code.
  3. Enter a code (e.g. "EARLYBIRD20"). Codes are not case-sensitive.
  4. Choose the discount type: Percentage (e.g. 20% off) or Flat dollar (e.g. $10 off).
  5. Set your discount value.
  6. Configure limits and targeting (see below).
  7. Click Save. The code is active immediately.

Usage limits and expiry

Total uses: The maximum number of times this code can be redeemed across all buyers. Once the limit is reached, the code becomes inactive.

Per-buyer limit: How many times a single buyer can use the code. Set to 1 to prevent double-dipping.

Expiry date: The code automatically deactivates after this date. Useful for limited-time promotions.

Apply a promo code to specific ticket types

By default, a promo code applies to all ticket types on your event. To restrict it to specific tiers:

  1. When creating or editing the code, find the Applies to setting.
  2. Select Specific ticket types and choose which tiers are eligible.
  3. Buyers who apply the code to an ineligible ticket type will see an error.

Track promo code usage

Go to Marketing → Promo codes to see each code's redemption count, total discount value issued, and remaining uses. Click any code for a full list of orders that used it.

Deactivate or delete a promo code

To immediately stop a code from being used, click the code name and toggle Active off. To permanently delete it, click Delete. Deleting a code does not affect orders that already used it.
