Orders

Managing orders and attendees

Search and export orders, edit attendee details, transfer tickets, manage will-call, and handle cancellations or postponements.

View and search your order list

Your full order list is available in real time from your Organizer Dashboard.

  1. 1

Go to Organizer Dashboard → Your event → Orders.

  2. 2

Use the search bar to find an order by buyer name, email, or order number.

  3. 3

Filter by ticket type, purchase date range, or order status (completed, refunded, cancelled).

  4. 4

Click any order to see its full details: buyer info, ticket types purchased, payment total, and check-in status.

Export your attendee list

Export a CSV of all your attendees for use in your own tools — spreadsheets, CRMs, email platforms, or door lists.

  1. 1

Go to Organizer Dashboard → Your event → Orders → Export.

  2. 2

Choose your export format: Attendee list (one row per attendee) or Order list (one row per order).

  3. 3

Select which fields to include: name, email, ticket type, order number, check-in status, and custom form responses.

  4. 4

Click Download CSV. The file will be emailed to you and available for download immediately.

Exports include all orders in the current filtered view. Apply any filters before exporting to narrow the results.

Edit attendee details on an order

You can update the name and contact details on any order — useful when a buyer purchases on behalf of someone else.

  1. 1

Find the order via Orders → search by name or order number.

  2. 2

Open the order and click Edit attendee details.

  3. 3

Update the name, email, or any custom form fields.

  4. 4

Click Save changes. The updated details will reflect in your exports and check-in app immediately.

Editing attendee details does not affect the buyer’s account or payment method — only the details attached to that specific ticket.

Transfer a ticket to a new buyer

Transfer a ticket from one buyer to another when a buyer can no longer attend and wants to send their ticket to a friend.

  1. 1

Open the order from Orders → search by name or order number.

  2. 2

    Click Transfer ticket.

  3. 3

Enter the new buyer’s name and email address. They do not need an existing MeGoShow account.

  4. 4

Click Confirm transfer. The original buyer’s ticket is invalidated and a new ticket is issued to the new buyer via email.

Transfers are irreversible. The original buyer is notified of the transfer by email. Payment remains with the original buyer — transfers do not trigger refunds.

Add someone to will-call at the door

Add a guest to your will-call list when they haven’t purchased through the standard checkout — comp tickets, phone purchases, contest winners, and similar.

  1. 1

Go to Organizer Dashboard → Your event → Attendees → Add to will-call.

  2. 2

Enter the guest’s name and select their ticket type.

  3. 3

Add an optional note (e.g., "Press — confirmed by Sarah").

  4. 4

Click Add to list. The guest now appears in your attendee list and check-in app.

  5. 5

At the door, search the guest’s name in the check-in app and mark them as checked in.

Cancel or postpone your event

If your event needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, take action from your Organizer Dashboard.

To postpone (reschedule):

  1. 1

Go to Organizer Dashboard → Your event → Edit → Date & time.

  2. 2

Update the date and time to the new event date.

  3. 3

Save your changes. All ticket holders receive an automatic notification with the updated date.

  4. 4

Buyers who can no longer attend may request a refund — see refund policy.

To cancel:

  1. 1

Go to Organizer Dashboard → Your event → ⋯ Options → Cancel event.

  2. 2

Write a cancellation message to buyers explaining what happened.

  3. 3

Click Cancel event. All ticket holders are automatically notified and issued full refunds within 24 hours.

Cancellation is irreversible. Once cancelled, the event cannot be reopened. Any unsold revenue from already-processed payouts remains in your account — refunds are covered by MeGoShow for events cancelled due to organizer circumstances.
